Learn to add and remove extensions

Add an app or extension

1. Open the Chrome Web Store.
2. In the left column, click Apps or Extensions.
3. Browse or search for what you’d like to add.
4. When you find an app or extension you’d like to add, click Add to Chrome.
5. If you’re adding an extension:
   1. Review the types of data that the extension will be able to access.
   2. Click Add extension.

You’ll see your apps in your launcher, and your extensions in Chrome as buttons on the toolbar.
